Here you have found informative pages dedicated to - I call them - "underground", "concept" or "signature" wines (including sparkling and still wines). As a wine professional who is not following the beaten track I missed information on wines and wine regions which do not belong to the mainstream wine regions.

For you - these pages should be a helpful source in discovering lesser known but exciting wines and their wine regions. As well as to encourage you to discover some new wine tasting experiences. For example, did you ever try a delicious Winzersekt vom Germany? – it is equivalent to a champagne or a Crémant.

In the beginning I will start with tasting notes of sparkling and still wines available in the UK. Shortly, there will be also a section dedicated to organic wines. To round up the informative picture, there is a page with wine travels I have undertaken to get a first hand impression. To keep you up-to-date the news section will cover the latest news as well exciting wine events that are worth to visit.
